Cold as ice. That was reaction I got from Dan when I mentioned I wanted to go to the Ice Festival on Main Street in St. Charles. It’s about 10 minutes from home. It wasn’t the distance; it was the weather. Dan is a warm weather duck. But, even after he just had to mention the winds were 13 miles per hour, I somehow got him to agree.
Perhaps it was love!

Perhaps it was because I watch sports with him.

Or perhaps it was just in his nature.

In any case, there was lots to see!

All in all, it was a very fun day!

Absolutely fantastic!

Those ice sculptures, look amazing! I cannot wait for our winter activities to open up again. I really enjoyed this blog and the pictures…….wow some nice talent for sure.
LOL My partner is not into the cold either, I always tell him, with the right clothes you stay really warm, he doesn’t fair well to chilly temps.
