I have heard there is such a thing as barn hunting. I think it would be fun – especially in rural Michigan. However, I think it would take a lot of effort to even explain such a thing and the appeal of it to Dan. So, I think I will settle for just looking about as we go and then saying, “Stop the car!” Which is how I got this photo. 🙂 Thanks for your comment, and enjoy your day!
I had to count the syllables on the second line to see if this was another haiku! So, your comment made me smile in a couple of ways. Thank you, David… and have a good day. 🙂
I saw a really pretty one last year near the creamery off the Hart-Montague trail. It was blue and grey barn, but I could not get close enough for a picture to get the picture I wanted. I will have to look for that Facebook group! Thanks for letting me know about it. Enjoy your day!
A real fixer upper if I ever saw one. The possibilities are endless. Reminds me of a TV show called “You live in What? It’s fascinating what some people buy and turn into their dream homes. Have a good day tomorrow.
It’s a real fixer upper just even to be a barn again! I haven’t seen that show, but it sounds like something fun to watch. Enjoy your day tomorrow, too!
My grandfather used to make picture frames from old barn wood. People would bring him wood from a shed or barn that held special memories and he would do creative magic with his hand tools.
I love everything about this! The colors are so vibrant!

Child, keep your life straight
or the years will make it lean
like a tired, old barn.

An Old Barn
Like a grandmother
Even if tired and old
The beauty is there.

It looks like a quilter decided to paint a pretty quilt block for the barn. Lovely!
