As you might guess, I took several photos to get the flag unfurled. 🙂 The Missouri Military Memorial is in our Jefferson Barracks county park (right next to the national cemetery) and is near a trail head for a path that goes along the Mississippi. The park, a favorite, is beautiful and full of history. On nice days, we often combine a walk there and then a visit with my mom. Thanks for your comment, and enjoy your day!
Thank you. It is a local tribute for all those who gave their life in service for our country. There’s more to the memorial – three dimensional stars with pictures of our fallen heroes on it, and it is in a beautiful historic park overlooking the Mississippi – Jefferson Barracks.
