When we rode bikes at Gulf State Park, we passed a snake slithering across the trail. I thought about stopping to take a picture of it but thought the better of it because we were right by the trail named “Rattlesnake Ridge.” We quickly rode past it – in front of it. The snake in my picture was in a display in the Nature Center which we visited a few days later. I can’t be 100% sure, but the snake we saw did look like this rattlesnake in the exhibit. My first thought – YIKES!
If that’s real, 2 words for wordless Wednesday: No Thanks! 🥴

It’s real, but not alive. I thought I’d see if I could shake people up. 🙂 Enjoy your day!

As long as it is under glass, fine by me. Not, though, what I would want to find on a hike or a bike ride. Have a great day.

Snakes are so pretty. Sad how misunderstood they are.

I don’t know if I’d say “pretty”, but they are part of nature. I appreciate your appreciation of snakes. You make a good point. Enjoy your day!
