I bought this darling in Pentwater probably about thirty years ago. I found her flying near the ceiling in a little shop called “Decors by Sandra.” I bought this beauty because she reminded me of a book I read many, many times to my daughter, Talia, when she was little. The book was “Perfect the Pig” by Susan Jeschke. Ever since those days, I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for any pig with wings. And over time, that soft spot has expanded to include any pigs.
She’s a real beauty in my book. I hope she gave you a smile.

I love that too! I have a pig cookie jar, and a pig salt and pepper shaker that I bought as a young adult. They are packed away right now, but I may get them out again soon.
