So what do you see when you see a set of closed gates? The end? Not able to go any further? Or a new beginning? Throw them open wide and enter in to a new day and a new tomorrow. For me it is the second. As I hope it will be for everyone. Have a great day.
Now that is a positive attitude! A new day and a new tomorrow always brings hope – and hopefully more adventures! As far as these particular gates, they are in Jefferson Barracks St. Louis County park. I believe these gates can’t be opened, but if you walk down just a bit to the end of the gates, you can walk around to the new day and the new tomorrow! Enjoy your day!
There’s nothing like being gifted a couple of gates. 😉

Nice photo! In addition to capturing the historical significance, the scenery beyond the gates makes me want to get through and check it out!

I do, too. And these are so ornamental. The park also has a fence made from civil war gun barrels. Enjoy your day!
