Thanks, Terry. My son gave me these for my birthday/Mother’s Day after we arrived home from our trip. I tried to make them last as long as I could. 🙂 Hope you have a great day!
Nope. My son, Zachary, has given me many beautiful bouquets. And always yellow, because that’s my favorite color. I also have three artificial bouquets of yellow roses which are beautiful, too. All from Zachary. 🙂 Hope you have a great day, too!
I am not sure, but I think all ‘gardeners’ do that. We see a broken flower bud, we cut it and put it in a small vase and hope it will continue to blossom. I have a love-hate relationship with cut flowers. They are doomed to die the moment they are cut.
My favorite color flower is also yellow, and yes, I do the same thing when I receive them. Good to the very last one. Getting the dead ones out helps the others last longer. Not a scientific fact, just something I believe to be true!
I bet it is true that getting the dead ones out helps the others last longer. That’s kind of like changing the water every day. Gets the yucky out. I enjoy them as long as I can! Hope you have a good week!
Yes, I will keep that basket to reuse. I also put the little butterflies in another bouquet of artificial yellow roses. It’s fun to keep a bit for the memory! Have a great day!
Beautiful bouquet!

You are welcome! I love feeding the birds. We are seeing yellow finches now. And I just put up a hummingbird feeder. Enjoy your day, Joanna!

It is like getting new bouquets every time you size down. Lovely series of progressions, and with coordinating color vases!

I love how it shrunk. I do the same, in the end there is sometimes just a little flower left.

I’m not surprised you do the same! Let’s make things last as long as possible! Especially fresh flowers which were a gift! Enjoy your day!
