  1. Beautiful! This reminds me of my Mom’s flower garden, where she grew masses of lilies of different varieties. Also, the tiger lily (which is more of a deep orange colour) is our provincial flower.

    • We have tiger lilies here, too. 🙂 Both the yellow and orange varieties. This picture looked good on my Chromebook, but it looked better on my phone. I’ve noticed this before a few times, but it had me wondering. The picture just seemed more vibrant on my phone. Have you ever noticed this? If so, any explanation? Since, I think, many look at blogs on their phones, I thought I would just leave it the way it was. Hope you have a great day!

      • Yes, I’ve sometimes noticed a difference between my iPad and my iPhone. I think it has something to do with the number of pixels in the display. I’m not 100% certain, but I think I recall reading that somewhere. Your lily is quite red on my iPad, Betty, but very crisp and clear. I’ve just now checked on my phone, and there, the lily is a deep orange. Which one is the truer colour?

        • The lily is red. I guess we just have to accept the fact that there will be some variance among devices. In any case, the flower was beautiful! Have a great day, Terry!

    • While yellow is my favorite color, red is lively. If you look at pictures of rooms in decorating magazines, there is often a pop of red to bring the room to life. I will have to look for something different next week. Hmm…
