I so love this lovely yard ornament! It brings back many wonderful childhood memories. Out of curiosity, Betty, what did you call it – a see-saw, or a teeter-totter? We called it the latter.
Thank you. I just keep my eye out for something – sometimes – anything! I like flowers, but I have to be careful not to overdo it on the flowers. Per my husband. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your day, too!
So sweet – I think we all have happy memories from the playground! Truthfully, I never liked these as the jarring bump at the end was just too unpleasant.
I know what you mean! You had to really be on the ball to have a good ride with a good ending. I guess of all the playground possibilities, I liked swings the best. Growing up, there was a metal triangular shaped slide at a nearby park. Man, that thing could burn you on a hot summer day! Those kinds of slides have probably all been removed. Thanks for your comment. You got me thinking about playgrounds!

Thank you, Terry. It is at Orchid Terrace – where my mom lives. We used both names, but mainly teeter-totter. Hope you have a great day!

I liked the swings, but my favorite was the slide. Yes, they were hotter than a vinyl car seat!

What a pretty garden. I like that there are rocking chairs in the background, too.
