Hi Terry. It is one of those metal fire ring/grills which stand up when not in use. I had to get down real low in order to take the picture. 🙂 I thought it was a unique perspective of a campsite. Thanks for your comment, and enjoy your day!
We’ve seen these just a couple of times. We didn’t use it. The first morning we were there, a worker came by and swept up the ashes on the ground. This campground was kept pristine.
Oh my goodness!!! How fun! Let me know if you’d like to ‘meet’ in real life, ha ha. I’ll be in Poplar Bluff on a few different days and Greenville isn’t that far north.
Glad to hear no heavy labor by Dan was involved in your creation of this artistic shot! I was picturing him dragging a concrete arch over to a bench–ha ha. We had one of these on the Florida RV trip I did with my cuz last fall, but only the grill flipped up, not the fire ring.
That’s a fun and interesting frame for your camper photo, Betty. Is it a swing?

Dan was glad no heavy labor was involved either! The hardest thing was me getting down low to take the picture! 🙂 Enjoy your day!
