I wanted to let you all know I will be taking a break from blogging.

There just isn’t enough time right now for all I want to do. And I’ve undertaken a new project which, God willing, I will post about in 2023. Plus, there’s the holidays and all the stuff of regular life. Well, I am sure you know all about it.

In any case, I will be back. I have lots more stories and ideas in my mind that I want to write about. And as such, I don’t want to put just anything out there without it being my best effort.

Because …

Anything worth doing at all, is worth doing well.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. And whether or not you celebrate Christmas, I wish you peace, joy and love. And just so you know, because of my “secret project,” it may be February before I resume blogging. Take care, and I hope to see you then.

    • Thanks, Meg! Yes, one of the reasons I am taking a break is to get ready for and enjoy family time! All our kids come home, and that only happens once a year. Happy Holidays to you, too!

    • Okay, I will wave at you all, but it might look like a “Comet” or a “Dasher” meteorite in the sky. Enjoy the holiday celebrations; perhaps you’ll be a “Dancer” in the new year as it arrives. I’ll likely be a pajama “Donner” as 2023 arrives here in the Midwest. But when that new year is finally here, I’ll be “Blitzen” WordPress posts to you! … See why I need a break? 🙂

  17. Enjoy your break. I recently returned from one. It was a struggle resuming a regular habit and schedule, but once I started fiddling with my photos and digging into the research, I realized how much I missed it. Have a wonderful holiday and I look forward to hearing about your new project.

  22. Merry Christmas, Betty! I understand the busy-ness and look forward to your return. You have always put a lot into your blog to make it a wonderful read. And I truly wish we lived closer to St Charles. A visit during Christmas season would be so very fun!
