Used to do it every time! Helps some times to jiggle the hook the receiver sits on. Now, let me see the last payphone I found was in the RV Park in the International Peace Gardens. Never expected one in that forgotten place. And it worked! Have a great weekend.

Oh yes, called home so many times on one of these. Mama always said to make sure I had a quarter or two in my purse, just in case!

It was a dime in my pre-teen days, but that ’70’s inflation sent it skyrocketing to a quarter!
