Quite often yes, Betty! Still love your happy smiles. Did you know you can mirror reverse the image in your photos app so that hard rock reads correctly? By the way, where was this taken?
I didn’t even know the camera reversed the image when taking a selfie – until I saw this selfie! LOL. I looked at my photo app on my phone. I do have a setting “Save selfies as previewed” which is currently off. From what I see, that’s the only way I could “fix” it. But obviously, I don’t know much about this, so I could be wrong. 🙂 This was taken at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa when we went to see Scotty McCreery.
It doesn’t always reverse the image, Betty. After some of mine were reversed and some weren’t I learned that it depends on the way you’re holding your camera. If you had flipped it end for end, that would have corrected it. I’m not sure if your phone works the same as mine, but on mine, if I hit edit and then crop … up in the top left corner, there’s a triangle with an arrow. If I tap on that, it reverses the image.
I don’t have that feature when editing on my Android phone (or in my chrome book photo editing.) I only have the free features. Perhaps that is an option available to purchase. I think the “Save Selfies..” option may correct it when taking the photo. I’ll try this soon. If you see a selfie with a sign in the background – and the letters are not reversed – you’ll know it worked! We are going somewhere soon where there will be lots of signs!
My husband works in IT, he taught me to use Google to figure out how to do stuff like reverse an image, etc. Lately, if I can’t figure out how to do something tech related, I ask Google. There might be a free way to fix it with your Android…
However, the photo is funny with the sign backwards and you and Dan have such happy smiles so maybe just leave it as is and enjoy it the way it came out! 😊 Have a fun weekend!
Thank you! I did do some research in Google, but the photo editing on my phone and Chrome book didn’t have the features Google mentioned. However, I agree with you. The photo is funny, and it makes me laugh! I hope you have a fun weekend, too!
Here’s looking at your Babe! As always that wonderful, beautiful smile of yours. And the guy next to you doesn’t look half bad. I believe if I were you I’d hang on to him! Have a great weekend.
Good Morning, David. Your comment is another great analogy. We smiled because we didn’t realize how the picture was going to turn out. But, in life, if we can smile a bit through the bumps, it makes the ride better. 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!

I love it Betty—just like it is. Life always has something that’s backwards, but we smile for the camera anyway. Enjoy your weekend!

Such a cute picture. I’m terrible at selfies. I’m always surprised when one actually turn out.
