This is a stunning yellow iris! My grandmother used to grow yellow iris, and though I brought some bulbs to Mississippi, they only bloomed the first year–a profusion of yellow. My next job is to dig them up and try planting them elsewhere.

So pretty! Our irises haven’t bloomed yet, and our city is the “Iris Capital of the World” (most of the irises come from here)!
